(Hong Kong) - Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China announced today (31 May) that a passenger on Cathay Pacific flight CX134 from Melbourne to Hong Kong (30 May departure) with a connecting flight from Hong Kong to Hangzhou on the same day has since tested positive for Influenza A (H1N1).
Cathay Pacific Airways can confirm that the passenger on CX134 arrived at Hong Kong International Airport at 3:21pm HK time on Saturday 30 May. A total of 224 passengers, three cockpit crew and 10 cabin crew were on board the flight.
Cathay Pacific will comply with requests from health authorities to provide details of the passengers and the operation crew manifest to determine if medical follow-up is necessary.
