Company achieves its vision of becoming a global leader in sustainability performance – six years ahead of its 2030 goal
Swire Properties is delighted to have obtained the top position globally in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) 2024 in the Real Estate Management & Development Industry category, rising from second place last year.
Thanks to this recognition by DJSI World, the Company has achieved its Sustainable Development 2030 Vision, established in 2016, of becoming a global leader in sustainability performance in the real estate industry. Swire Properties has realised its vision six years ahead of its target milestone in 2030. This accomplishment reflects the effectiveness of the Company’s SD 2030 Strategy and the successful integration of sustainability into every facet of its business.
Swire Properties has been a DJSI World constituent company for eight consecutive years since 2017. The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index comprises global sustainability leaders, as identified by S&P Global through the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). It represents the top 10% of the largest 2,500 companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index (BMI) - based on long-term economic, environmental and social criteria.
